Discografía de Queen


La discografía de la banda británica de rock Queen formada en 1970 en Londres por el guitarrista Brian May, el cantante Freddie Mercury , el baterista Roger Taylor y el bajista John Deacon completando la formación al año siguiente. Su discografía oficial consiste en catorce álbumes de estudio, siete álbumes en directo, una banda sonora, diez álbumes recopilatorios, cuarenta y ocho sencillos y varias otras presentaciones.



Queen lanzó su álbum debút en 1973. A pesar de no tener éxito rápidamente, Queen se empezó a abrir camino en Gran Bretaña con su segundo álbum, Queen II, en 1974. En 1972, Queen firmó con Trident Studios. Tiempo después, Queen firmó un contrato record con EMI y Elektra en los Estados Unidos. EMI sería su última discográfica. En 1983, finalizó su contrato con Elektra y firmó con Capitol Records. En 1990, nuevamente terminaron su contrato en Estados Unidos, para firmar con Hollywood Records. En 1991, Queen lanzó toda su discografía, hasta el momento, remasterizada en CD en los Estados Unidos, y trece álbumes (todos los de estudio hasta 'The Works', inclusive, sumados a 'Live Killers', álbum en vivo, y 'Greatest Hits', álbum compilatorio) fueron remasterizados en Abbey Road Studios y lanzados en CD y Casete en el Reino Unido entre julio de 1993 y marzo de 1994.
